Softball is a fantastic game that is becoming well established in the UK. The Manchester league has been running since the early nineties and has three divisions and hundreds of players. All divisions are mixed gender (5 male and 5 female in a team) and the range of abilities runs from complete beginners to international standard. Softball is, in effect, the social form of baseball. It shares many of the same rules. It is competitive but friendly, has a very strong social aspect and will constantly challenge you to improve!
